Training

Commissionaires Victoria is approved to provide security patrol training by the Province of British Columbia, Security Programs, Police Services Division, Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General.

All new applicants considered suitable for employment with the Division must successfully complete a minimum of ten days training prior to enrolment.

This basic training package includes:

Basic Standards Training (40 Hrs.)

Candidates must successfully complete the St. John Ambulance practical examination. Cost $50.

Selected Commissionaires who have sufficient on the job experience and have demonstrated the requisite supervisory potential will be provided with the Supervisor's Course in preparation for filling a supervisor position.
