Training
Commissionaires Victoria is approved to provide security guard training by the Province of British Columbia. We do so in our modern well appointed training academy with experienced, professional instructors.
All new applicants considered suitable for employment with the Division must successfully complete a minimum of ten days training prior to enrolment. This package meets the fedral Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) requirmements for secutiy guard training.
This basic training package includes:
Basic Standards Training (40 Hrs.)

Commissionaires Enhanced Course (BC) (24 Hrs.)
Conflict Resolution (6 Hrs.)
Selected Commissionaires who have sufficient on the job experience and have demonstrated the requisite supervisory potential will be provided with the Supervisor's Course in preparation for filling a supervisor position.
